Meet Dr. Davis

Dr. Garrett Davis, MD is a board-certified orthopedic surgeon with a fellowship training in adult reconstruction. His passion and commitment lie in delivering outstanding care in hip and knee preservation, replacement, and acute fracture care.

A graduate of Dartmouth Medical School, Dr. Davis pursued his Orthopedic Surgery Residency at Dartmouth-Hitchcock Medical Center. His quest for specialized knowledge led him to the Rothman Institute at Jefferson, where he completed his Orthopedic Fellowship in Adult Reconstruction in 2015. Alongside his medical education, Dr. Davis also holds an impressive portfolio of business education, earning a Master of Science in Health Care Leadership from The Dartmouth Institute, a Master of Business Administration from the Tuck School of Business at Dartmouth, and a Bachelor of Science in Business Management from Brigham Young University.

Throughout his career, Dr. Davis has earned several accolades for his dedication to medical practice and research. In 2014, he received the prestigious Resident Teacher of the Year Award, recognizing his exceptional contributions to medical education. He was also a recipient of the NIH National Research Service Award Institutional Research Training Grant (2010-2011) and the Hampers/Payton MD/MBA Scholarship (2006-2008). Dr. Davis served as a speaker at Dartmouth Medical School’s Orientation and White Coat Ceremony in 2004, and was named to the BYU Dean’s List from 2000 to 2003.

Dr. Davis’s approach to care is patient-centric, involving patients in shared decision-making to ensure their treatment aligns with their lifestyle and goals. He is a strong proponent of prevention and rehabilitation, and employs the latest, scientifically proven surgical techniques when surgery is required.

Outside of his practice, Dr. Davis is an active member of the Heber Valley community, where he resides with his wife and four boys. His love for Utah’s beautiful landscapes and outdoor activities shapes his holistic approach to healthcare, emphasizing overall wellbeing and quality of life.
