Kevin H. Walters, PA-C

Physician Assistant with Dr. Davis

Kevin Walters, PA-C, originally grew up in 29 Palms, California and later graduated from Utah Valley University with a Bachelors of Science in Exercise Science in 2019 while working as a medical assistant and an EMT-B. Kevin later obtained his Physician Assistant degree in Provo, Utah at Rocky Mountain University of Health Professions.

As part of his education, Kevin gained experience in internal medicine, behavioral health, family medicine, emergency medicine, orthopedics/sports medicine, pediatrics, women’s health, and general surgery. During his Orthopedic surgery rotation, Kevin quickly gained a deep appreciation for reconstructive surgery from seeing patients’ quality of life improve as they resumed hobbies they couldn’t do from pain.

He is board certified with the National Association of Certification of Physician Assistants and specializes in hip and knee reconstruction working alongside Dr. Garrett Davis. When not at work helping patients, Kevin is frequently outdoors camping with his family, playing sports, or fly fishing.

Troy S. Johnson, PA-C

Physician Assistant with Dr. Davis

Troy achieved his Masters degree in physician assistant sciences from the University of Saint Francis in 2002. He enjoys backpacking and fly fishing on off the beaten-path streams. After a 15 year hiatus, he reignited his interest in skiing during the epic snow season of 22/23.

Melissa L. Ricks, PA-C

Physician Assistant with Dr. Davis

Melissa Ricks grew up in Park City, Utah, and loves in the Wasatch Back. She attended college at BYU and then earned her Master’s of Medical Sciences at Midwestern University in Illinois. Throughout her college and master’s programs, she did research in osteoarthritis and joint degradation developed a love for orthopedic surgery. She worked in orthopedic spine and neurosurgery for 8 years in Chicago before transitioning to general orthopedics with The Orthopedic Partners in 2021. In her spare time, Melissa loves to run in the summer, ski in the winter and spend time with her husband and 3 kids.

Sydnee Lefler

Medical Assistant

Sydnee Lefler was born and raised in Salt Lake City, Utah. She completed her bachelors in Anthropology with a health emphasis at the University of Utah. Currently she is in the process of applying to medical school and thoroughly enjoys her work with Dr Davis. Additionally she works as an assistant teacher of physiology at the University of Utah. In her free time, she enjoys playing bingo at the VA, volunteering at free clinics, cuddling babies at Intermountain Medical Center, strength training at the gym, cooking, fly fishing and watching movies.

Katie Ivers

Athletic Trainer

Katie Ivers is a native of Park City, UT. She attended college at Colorado Mesa University where she earned her Bachelors in Exercise Science and Masters in Athletic Training. As part of her education, she gained experience in working with athletes in high school, collegiate and orthopedic settings. In her spare time, she enjoys going to the lake during the summer, skiing in the winter, and spending time with her friends, family and her kitty, Theodore.
